PROJECT OVERVIEW

Morguard has been the operator and asset manager of Coquitlam Centre and surrounding property for almost 40 years, and has seen the area and the City of Coquitlam evolve over time. Now, Morguard, on behalf of Pension Fund Realty, is beginning the planning process to redevelop Coquitlam Centre through a phased, transit-oriented process over the next 60+ years. Phase 1 will begin with a 16-acre area in the northeast corner of the site.

This project will include two parallel processes:

Conceptual Master Plan
for the Entire Site
Phase 1 Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment and Rezoning Applications

The City has requested that Morguard create a Conceptual Master Plan to provide an overarching guide for the full site (approximately 60-acres), including later phases of development.

At the same time, Morguard is completing Phase 1 Official Community Plan Amendment and Rezoning Applications for a 16-acre parcel that includes the former Sears site, the east parking lot and two lots on the northeast corner of the site.
